How to make IDLY
Ingredients:
Urud Dhall : 1 cup
Idly Rice : 3 cup
Salt : 1 to 2 teaspoon
Water : to soak rice and dhall.
Method
First wash the dhall and rice. Soak urud dhall and rice in water in two different vessel. Soak for nearly 6 hours. After soaking for the specified time now grind dhall and rice separately. After grinding them, mix both together and add salt while mixing the flour. Leave the mixture for about 4 to 6 hours or overnight. After which you can see the flour has raised to a considerable level. Now have a cloth spread on your idli pan and add the flour to it. Leave for 20 mins in medium heat. Now IDLY is ready to serve.
